Happy Birthday!!

What better way to spend your birthday? In Arizona, with your wife, and in a nice hotel. Zak turned 23 today!!! This morning when I woke up I hear Zak's sweet voice ask if he could open his presents. So I said Yes, he turned into a little boy and got so excited. I love Zak so much and I'm so grateful we found each other. Happy Birthday Love!!!

-Relaxing in Arizona-

We have had such a fun time down here in Arizona. We've been able to stay in some amazing places. These are some of the pictures, the first one is a view in the hotel. The second is one of us waiting for the shuttle, the third one is the view from our room. We then went to another hotel and the sunset was so pretty, that same day we went to the pool (Zak loves his feet!). It's been perfect weather, and we are so glad to have spent the week with just each other!

Arizona Here We Come!!!

So the time has arrived, we're going to Arizona!!! Here are two of the places we'll be staying. So amazing right? There is a lazy river at one of the hotels, so Zak is thrilled to just relax and float around and around. It will be such a needed and great vacation for us.

Our First Christmas Tree..

Last night Zak and I went to "Rick's Tree Patch"(I made up the name of the place, but the owners name really is Rick!) to pick out our first Christmas tree together. I was so excited because my family has had a fake tree for a long time. We looked around for a bit and then found the one we wanted, we had Rick come and get it for us!! He put it in the truck and we came home and set it up. It looked perfect and there is nothing greater then the smell of a pine tree. Today I went and got all our decorations and it looks so cute. I love Christmas!!

Game Night!

had such a fun night playing Wii out at the Bartholomew's house. I love the video of Zak because he looks so into the game, very serious!! Then there's one of me getting a strike. We love our family, it's so fun being with them and playing games all night long. We can't wait to do it again!!

Halloween!

Halloween is my favorite holiday and what made it even better is that Zak got work off to spend the day with me! We had a Jack-O-Lantern pizza and carved our pumpkin. We helped hand out candy to all the kids, then we watched Transformers. Some of the family stopped by to show us their costumes and all the candy they got. It was a fun night and I can't wait until next year to do it all again.

~Thriller~

On Saturday Zak and I went to Thriller at Kingsbury Hall. It's one of my favorite thing to do around Halloween. I know Zak didn't really want to go, but because I love dance so much he was willing. It was a fun night, we went to David's Kitchen for dinner (which moved to a new location, it's not so ghetto). Then we went to the performance. One thing I love is the dancers dressed up like their dead and walk around scaring people. Thriller was good and really entertaining. Zak even said there were some dances he enjoyed and but the rest of them were lame! Thats why I love him.

Arizona!!

Awhile ago Zak told me he had a surprise he wanted to tell me, but then hesitated to say what it was. So of course I got all excited and made him tell me. He said that he was planning a trip to Arizona in Dec for us. We're flying down there on the 13th and coming home on the 20th. We're going to be staying at some nice hotels for free because of his work. It will be so much fun and Zak will get to celebrate his 23rd Birthday down there too. I can't wait!!

Married Life...

Zak and I have been married for over 3 months now and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to us. We have enjoyed living in my parents home, but also are looking forward to the day we can have our own place. Zak is going to school at SLCC studying Mechanical Engineering and also working at Marriott. He is such a hard worker and I'm so proud of him. I'm working at The Daisy Spa and seeing it grow here and there. Life is wonderful right now and we're both so glad to have each other.
