Baby News!!!!

We got our 'New Baby' last week and we love it SO much. Zak has always wanted a Tacoma Truck and I needed something safe to drive up to Park City. So both of our needs or dreams were fulfilled!! We have so much fun in it and even went up to our 'spot' to welcome it into our family!! Sorry if anyone thought we were having a baby!!! And we had two wonderful thanksgivings. Ate way to much, but loved the time with Family!

All of you must be wondering where we've been. Well Zak has been so busy with school and I have been busy with my job. Oh man I wish all of you could see the Hotel, it's amazing. I've been in the spa once,(still under construction) but let me tell you even being under construction it is BEAUTIFUL. I fill so lucky to get to work there. When I get a chance I'll snap some pictures of it and put them on the blog. Overall we're doing great and loving life!!

What a Week!

On Monday I had an interview with St. Regis Deer Crest, for an Esthetician position. Later that night I got to go to Thriller with some of my sister-in-laws. It was SO much fun and always a wonderful show! Plus this year we got to sit on the fourth row!

On Tuesday I had to go do a practical(facial) on someone from St. Regis to see if I was good or not!!! Later that night I got a call that I GOT THE JOB!!! I was SO excited. I start on Thursday, but the Hotel doesn't open until the end of Nov!!!

On Friday morning at 4:30 am my phone rings and it's Cassie (my sister-in-law) saying her water broke. I got ready and headed over to the hospital. When I saw Cassie she had a big smile on her face and was shocked that the baby was going to be coming a week early. As many hours passed we all wondered if she was ever going to come!!! Sure enough beautiful Brighton Smith was born the next day, Saturday 24Th at 12:30 am, 6 pound 14 ounces and 19 inches long. Cassie did such a wonderful job and as soon as Brighton was in her arms she knew how to be a mother. I feel honored to have had the chance to be in the room with Cassie and Aaron as their sweet new baby was born. They're going to be amazing parents. Brighton has and will continue to bring much joy and happiness into the lives of all who meet her.

Brighton is number 13 for the total of nieces and nephews for Zak and I!!

Road Trip!

This weekend we are heading down to St. George. It will be a much needed get away for Zak. With school and all his studies, let hope he can relax for awhile. We also get to go to Las Vegas for a day or I should say night. We get to eat at the AMAZING restaurant called Aquaknox in the Venetian Hotel. I know your all jealous! We'll be sure to take some good pictures!

Sweet Jane

I love spending time with my niece Jane. She is so cute and has the cutest voice. Today I got to play with her for a little bit and loved every second of it!

Fun Week

This week has been really fun. I got to attend a wedding reception with my sister Shelly and Bodie. We did Bodies hair and he looked so cute!! Then I got to go to lunch with Erin on her birthday. We brought a lunch to the park and had a good conversation under a tree. We gave her a big jar full of Gum Balls (don't worry I now have one in my house too!). Then Zak and I went to a birthday/going away party for our friend Burton. He is moving to Lebanon, (yes in the middle east) and we will miss him a ton.
