On Tuesday I had to go do a practical(facial) on someone from St. Regis to see if I was good or not!!! Later that night I got a call that I GOT THE JOB!!! I was SO excited. I start on Thursday, but the Hotel doesn't open until the end of Nov!!!
On Friday morning at 4:30 am my phone rings and it's Cassie (my sister-in-law) saying her water broke. I got ready and headed over to the hospital. When I saw Cassie she had a big smile on her face and was shocked that the baby was going to be coming a week early. As many hours passed we all wondered if she was ever going to come!!! Sure enough beautiful Brighton Smith was born the next day, Saturday 24Th at 12:30 am, 6 pound 14 ounces and 19 inches long. Cassie did such a wonderful job and as soon as Brighton was in her arms she knew how to be a mother. I feel honored to have had the chance to be in the room with Cassie and Aaron as their sweet new baby was born. They're going to be amazing parents. Brighton has and will continue to bring much joy and happiness into the lives of all who meet her.
Brighton is number 13 for the total of nieces and nephews for Zak and I!!
